THANK YOU! Nick and MTV are one in the same, so I’m not nearly as surprised that Nick would be caught “unawares” by their careless cross-linking to sexual & violent ‘games’. I’m actually shocked none of these are shows on Cartoon Network yet. haha!

Then again … who knows if it was careless… music videos for preschool kids (on ‘Noggin’) was not an accident. Naturally those kids will crossover to the music videos suitable for their age group. Viacom’s goal is to influence us all via cradle-to-grave programming.

I’ve seen very little from them to lead me to believe they care about the mental or emotional health of our children.

Thanks for letting us know about this Tony! I’m one of the ones who thought Nick.com was safe enough not to have to monitor. But not any more!

Whoa! Holy cow, those “games” are disgusting. My son used to go to addictinggames, but quit because he said there were some “bad” ones.

Why do they target kids the way they do?!?! Well, I guess we all know why.. kids grow into adults with money… all very sad.

Oh boy! not good. Im glad my kids prefers to watch the disney channel and hi-5 children musical show. they should banned that. its not a good influence to the children

Thanks for this info, although Nick channel website here in Canada is different from what they have there, but I will keep an eye on those and put them in my block list filter so my boys will not “accidentally” click on them.

I’ve seen my nephews and son played stick figure once and that was it. I find it really violent so it has to stop. I prohibited them from playing it again and that’s it.

You’re absolutely right, not kid friendly at all.

Nick Cannon took over as CEO of Nickelodeon, and when he did, he made massive changes to the tv channel line up and the website.
He is the one who bought addictinggames.com and neopets.com, which my youngest used to play. (he played neo pets)
Anyway, he bought several gaming websites and is making millions of dollars for Nickelodeon.

As for all of the violent games, I agree, they are way too violet for young children to play and have access to on the website.
Yes, Tom & Jerry, even some of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons, the road runner was always extremely violent, all of them were very violent, but like you said, on a totally different level than the games available on the Nickelodeon website.
If I had small kids, they would not be allowed on the Nickelodeon website at all, but both my sons are much older now so I don’t monitor them as much anymore, but I would not allow them to play the naughty teacher game or the peeping tom game, no way!!
