    A skeeve is kind of like a sleaze, I guess. Someday we are going to move…to Maine or New Hampshire!

    It’s definitely northern slang.

    Skeeve is definitely Yankee. Here in New York, it’s not used very much except by those who are from New England or have been influenced by New England. They are such affectionate, cheery folks, those New Englanders, lol.
