Happy New Year Post!
Everyone At Payu2blog wishes all of you a very Happy 2009!
I’ve been reading a lot of year end announcments by companies about their 2008 , and also about how excited they are about the upcoming 2009 for their companies… all that “I’m so excited about the future of 09 ” .. and some “really big things in the works here at (insert company name here) !” Stuff.
I can’t help thinking after reading some of it, that a lot of the pontificating sounded, well …. forced. So I want to give you all some information here about last year, and about next year, but I don’t want to sound as full of @@@@ as I think some of the other posts at other companies did. 
Here Goes:
I think Payu2blog has always done things a little differently, to say the least.
We truly care about our people, both our inside company people and bloggers. I know many of you have never had that personal interaction with us, but there a few peeeps out there that have seen live examples of that.
Our Core Business Plan was never to go out and get funding and be into someone else’s pocket for the functioning of our business.
Why do you care about any of that? – That meant from the start we had to make sure we ran a profitable business… if we do that then everyone wins. Advertisers win, our bloggers win ( more assignments with happy adverts,) and our employees win by having jobs.
So while other companies may blow I mean spend on things like lavish vacations business trips, trade shows, focus groups, big productions videos large scale advertising etc.. etc….. we have kept things simple and focused on Advert Happiness, Blogger happiness (paying as fast as possible, and trying not to make crazy demands of your sites) in order to have a successufl company.
Guess what ? We have more advertisers than ever, our inside sales team has done a tremendous job of gaining new clients ( Hats off to Sales) – which has enabled us to grow bloggers, and number of employees, and increased business so everyone is making money and( just as important) having fun.
Are we perfect? Nope, Do we mistakes? Absolutely. Do I misspell and use bad grammar? ummm
So all @@@ aside- Payu2blog will be here for a long time as a scource of income for you, our bloggers.
Our focus on healthy growth of adverts, controlled growth of bloggers, and allocating money correctly, and not spending stupidly- has ensured we will be here, sending you assignments for a long while. Yay!

Plan on more assignments, more money, and few new things coming up , and of course much more fun in 2009!

” made me laugh out loud.
In light if the economic woes everyone seems to be facing, its super nice to see such a reassuring message. I think I am not the only blogger who thinks its awesome of you to come to work, to post this message of hope on New Years Day.
the PU2B team has dedication like no other paid blogging site I’ve seen.

I for one have had the best time working for you. I love the way this company works, they way you do business, your honesty with us, the fact that you don’t waste money on all those lavish trips and parties so that there’s more money for all of us to have, bloggers and inside employees equally.
I’m glad you don’t spend money foolishly, it means there’s more for all of us to have a piece of.
You make the work as easy as possible, you make working for you fun, and you are constantly having contests, fun stuff, to give all of the bloggers a chance to win some extra cash just for taking a picture, or making a silly video, or just drawing a name out of a hat.
I look forward to whatever is in store for 2009, I’m here for the long haul and am ready to work to help make PayU2Blog the best company to work for.
I really enjoy being a part of this fun, and fast growing company.

Thank you PU2B for being a fun and fantastic company to work for. Although I don’t really consider what I do as “work” because I have so much fun and enjoy what I do!
You have proven, time and time again, that we all are much more than just “employees”, and that means a lot to me personally!
It doesn’t matter if you misspell or use improper grammar, what matters is that you are doing what needs to be done in order to run a successful business. You listen to what we have to say and you make us feel like we matter in the entire realm of things.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be such an amazing company! Here’s to 2009 and whatever is in store. Like Kat, I’m here for the long haul!

What a heartfelt and candid post! Thank you so very much for opening your heart like that, and also for making it very clear (once again) of your concern for your business and us bloggers.
I just love, adore, admire, gush over PayU2Blog. It has been a totally wonderful experience, working with everyne and getting to know the bloggers at the forum. I am SO glad I joined this group!! And I;m so honored that you accepted me.
My only concern for 2009 was income; I was wondering if you guys were going to see less business with the economy in the toilet the way it is… but I am heartened to read that you are hopeful and have some great things up your sleeve.

You mean you’re NOT going to fly up to D.C. on a private jet, and ask Congress for a multi-billion dollar bailout? And then take out expensive full-page ads in newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal to thank the American taxpayers for subsidizing PayU2Blog?
Seriously…all of the lavish trips and parties that other places do are a turn-off. Especially to bloggers who are hurting for cash and just want some work. They don’t want to hear about the company living high on the horse, rather than working to get more adverts and more work for the bloggers.
It was almost two years ago that Derek emailed me and asked me to come and blog for you guys. I am so glad I said YES. I’m so glad to be a part of PU2B!

I for one love working with payu2blog, you give us the ability do what we love to do, blog and hey if we can make a little money, and have major fun while doing it, then that is even better. Thank you for this positive message. I love your honesty, your hard work, the fun you make for us, how you not only listen to us but also do what you can when you can to make our experience a better one.
