A friend sent me this article with the title blogging bad in the subject… As I read through the article I realized he could be onto something… with all the negative backlash about paid blogging and people trying (ridiculously) to make it some sort of moral issue, Could this article in the NY Times be just another sneaky way for some big media companies (you pick one) to discourage the little guy (paid bloggers) from disrupting their “cash flow Cow” of advertising fees?

Some may laugh but it could be…

Here is an excerpt :

“To be sure, there is no official diagnosis of death by blogging, and the premature demise of two people obviously does not qualify as an epidemic.”

Wow! There is sure nothing like talk of death to scare people away… I guess it’s not only immoral for you to make money on your own- with your own blog- but now you risk death accd. to the article…

Maybe they were trying to do some good here but I can’t help but think the whole article is completely absurd and/ or it really is some sort of anti paid blogging agenda PR piece. What do you think?
