Pay U2 Blog Advertising

Frequently Asked Question Of the Month:

August 26th, 2008 by Tony

YES

If you add more blogs to your account (they have to qualify) you will indeed get more work… work is assigned on a per blog basis.  So the more blogs you have the more money you make… Keep in mind the blog itself still has to meet our criteria which depends on many factors– but in general if you want to make even more money- add more blogs by sending a message in the system.  Please make sure they are good… :) We may not take them but we won’t charge you any money to add them.

Tips for getting your blog approved by PU2B (for those of you who don’t read the forums):

Each blog must have its own unique domain name, you can’t start a passle of blogs with folders/subdomains of the same domain, and expect them to be approved.

They are not taking Blogspot blogs anymore. Or any free service. Get your own domain and hosting, it is cheap and it will pay for itself quickly.

Have a nice design. I’m no web designer myself, but at least I look for nice WP themes, and I often customize them myself. Try not to use the default themes, ask for help on the forums once you get in, so you can have a better design.

Have a voice. Don’t start blogs just to make money, have a theme and a voice for any blog you start. Once you start a blog, and it’s been around for a while, it will be approved by PU2B if it’s any good. But what you need to do is KEEP it good. With practice, you can fit the links into any blog post, and make it sound natural.

Update it at least a couple of times a week. Don’t just start a blog, write one post, and submit it. That will probably not work. Give it time to see if it’s something you will be committed to, and then submit it.

If you love to blog, and are committed to it, having multiple blogs will make you money here. You just need to go about it the right way to be approved.

I totally agree with Christine on this:
“Have a voice. Don’t start blogs just to make money, have a theme and a voice for any blog you start.”

Do NOT just start blogs to make money. Nothing screams ‘I’m only in it for the money and lumpy gravy’, more than a blog with no voice, no theme, no style, no future.
They are really easy to spot by bloggers and the company too. We ALL know what crappy blogs look like, we can spot them as soon as the page loads.

From my own personal thoughts, the word count requirement is only 60 words, but come on people, make the post count!!
You don’t just have to write a post with ONLY that link in it, you can link to other sites, your blogging friends, the local grocery store, other stuff, just make sure none of those other links compete with the link you have been assigned.
Make your posts normal and natural, write them the way you write all of your other blog posts.
If you can write 200-300 words about what your darling toddler did to the dog today, and link to other blogs or that restaurant you ate at last night, you can write 200-300 words about the same stuff and put the link in the post.

I see so, so many blogs with exactly 60 words, or slightly over, maybe 70-80 words, the link, and the post is blah, it has no voice, no story to tell, no nothing, it was obviously just written to get the assignment done.
    MAKE THE POST COUNT.
Be able to look back on those posts in a month and be able to tell yourself that was a great post, that it said something.

Give them great titles, add pictures, have fun, write them exactly like any and all of your regular posts.

This job is only the link, only 60 words, it’s super easy, but actually write, be a writer, tell stories, make it flow, write quality posts.

I promise you that if you start writing quality posts, adding pics, linking to other sites in the same post, making them mean something, making them count, you will get more work, and then when you get hosting and a domain name start a new blog and start writing more quality posts, you WILL get more assignments which equals more money.

I see people on the forums always asking for more work, asking for sheriff assignments, asking why they never get any, and then I go check out their blogs.
If you’re not getting any extra work, if you’ve never gotten any sheriff assignments, go look at your own blog with a fresh pair of eyes, go read those just at the word count requirement posts with no voice, no story, no quality, and you’ll see exactly why you’re not getting extra work.

    Harsh?
    Maybe.
    True?
    Most definitely.
