Blogging Makes Me Happy Contest!!

In the last 2 days I have read 2 articles by MAJOR news outlets where the overall theme is that blogging and in particular paid blogging can be harmful to your health and mental well being.
To say the least I found this disturbing. I’m not going to to link to the one I saw today – I don’t want them to gain more readers of this garbage.
Instead I want to get a little positive energy swirling around and announce a new contest for members of our Payu2blog Network.

I will be posting the details in the system later today.
Here is the High Level
- You will not be paid for entering-
- only the TOP 5 Chosen will win…
- each of the Winners will recieve $500.00 each.
- $500 seems like a nice enough number for this……
- The winners will be voted on by random people on the street(we are going to ask people in to view the entries) and everyone in our office.
- Everyone Will not win.. so please if you don’t win stay postive and wait til we have another contest of this type… I think for sure more are going to happen this year.

Glad to see you all are diving in to this… we need a little positive energy out there. Too much of and about blogging lately has been negative. Let’s change up the tide a bit.

You’re right about needing some positive energy. Several of the communities/groups of bloggers I read have been going through some difficult times re: jobs, deaths of pets, deaths of family members…
Time to remind us all why we kept with blogging for more than a month after the “new” wore off.

remember you don’t need a web cam… most digital cams will let you do movies.. also many people use still photos to make “movie files” u can use windows movie maker which is free to add music etc… its not as hard as some think

I can already feel the love. Why do media outlets bash on bloggers? Maybe because we are new source of news and info and this does not settle well with the old school journalist. Let the games begin!!

That’s an interesting concept that being payed to blog is detrimental to health. I don’t believe it is and I say to each their own and let people chose for themselves. Cool contest too, can’t wait to see how that turns out!

Ya I read a few negative articles about this subject as well and frankly I cant see what the big deal is about getting paid to blog. Its not like were selling out.. Getting paid to blog is sort of like having a job OFFLINE that you really love and getting paid for it. You dont see anyone saying negative stuff about that, now do you?
$500 sounds awesome. I want in! I could def use this money hehe.

If it wasn’t for getting my ranting & frustrations out by blogging, I don’t know where I’d be,lol!! Blogging makes me Very happy and keeps me quite saine too I might add!! Yup if it wasn’t for blogging, I’d be loony!!
